Restitution visuelle d’une aventure musicale
En février 2024, j’ai eu l’opportunité exceptionnelle d’accompagner le groupe FÜLÜ, lors de leur participation au célèbre Carnaval de Rio. Mon objectif était de capturer les moments forts : les musiciens en pleine action, les défilés colorés, et l’ambiance électrique qui régnait dans les rues.
De retour dans mon atelier, j’ai entrepris de redessiner une sélection de ces clichés pris sur le vif, cherchant à retranscrire graphiquement le chaos joyeux et l’exubérance du carnaval, à travers une écriture automatique et des couleurs vives.
Le résultat final est un objet imprimé en série limitée, composé de trois livrets, dont un déclinable en 20 affiches. Le jeu des formats des livrets est un clin d’oeil à la topographie de la ville et ses rues escarpées. La pochette imperméable qui contient l’ensemble protège contre l’humidité et les jets de caipirinha.

Visual rendering of a musical adventure
In February 2024, I had the exceptional opportunity to follow the group FÜLÜ in their adventure during the famous Rio Carnival. My aim was to capture the highlights: the musicians in action, the colorful parades, and the electric atmosphere in the streets.
Back in my studio, I set about redrawing a selection of these snapshots, seeking to graphically retranscribe the joyous chaos and exuberance of carnival, through automatic writing and bright colors.
The final result is a limited-edition printed object, made of three booklets, one of which can be made into 20 posters. The play of booklet formats is a nod to the city’s topography and steep streets. The waterproof pouch inside protects against humidity and caipirinha sprays.
