Basit H.Igtet
International Mediator
Architect of Regional Stability
Global Entrepreneur
Candidate for Secretary-General of the United Nations
Roadmap for Global Resilience
The United Nations stands at a decisive moment. From the Mediterranean migration crisis to the complex conflicts in the Middle East and Africa, the world requires a leader who moves beyond institutional inertia to deliver measurable impact. My candidacy offers a proactive doctrine to restore Human Value and build Sovereign Institutions—a vision born from a unique insider perspective of a nation in crisis or being on the front lines of a nation in crisis or polished by decades of global mediation. It is time for a United Nations that speaks the language of the people it serves.
GOVERNANCE & STATE BUILDING
Strengthening sovereign institutions is the only path to sustainable peace. My doctrine moves beyond temporary, reactive interventions to build permanent, accountable state structures. By modernizing public administration and eliminating the special envoy cycle, we empower local authorities to deliver transparent governance and restore the trust of their citizens.
GLOBAL SECURITY & STABILITY
International security depends on a shift from reactive to proactive diplomacy. By prioritizing human chemistry and direct, face-to-face mediation, we can resolve regional tensions—from the Middle East to Eastern Europe—before they escalate. True stability is built on personal trust and a commitment to 'Win-Win' solutions that respect national sovereignty.
ECONOMIC DIGNITY & HUMAN VALUE
The global economy must be rebuilt from the human up. Based on the artisan model of craftsmanship and mastery, my vision promotes entrepreneurship and regional economic restoration. By investing in human capital, we create resilient, self-sustaining economies that provide the freedom and opportunity necessary to solve the global migration crisis at its source.
INFRASTRUCTURE & RESOURCE SECURITY
Access to water, food, and healthcare is a fundamental pillar of global security. I advocate for a regional 'Master Plan' to rebuild critical infrastructure and manage resource scarcity. By securing these essentials, we protect the most vulnerable nations from the institutional fragmentation and fake leadership that thrive on resource instability.
“True global leadership is measured not by summits and statements, but by the tangible restoration of human value and the strength of sovereign institutions.”
A New Collective Vision for Our Shared Planet
The United Nations stands at a crossroads where individual interests have led to collective failure. We are entering an era where the old rules of diplomacy have faded, leaving a void filled by ego and isolation. My vision is not for a single leader, but for a Leader-Community. We must move beyond the reactive summits of the past to restore Human Trust before diplomacy, and Collective Relationships before self-interest.
Whether we rise or fall, we do so together. My mission is to redefine our interaction—from the village to the Secretariat—to ensure that every decision considers the harmony of our entire global community. It is time to restore the human pace of our planet.
BEYOND THE INDIVIDUAL EGO
True success is never personal; it is always collective. We must move from the ego of nations to a master plan of Global Interest, where the prosperity of one is built on the stability of all.
RESTORING HUMAN CHEMISTRY
People are at the root of effective policy. We prioritize the restoration of face-to-face trust and personal accountability as the only foundation for a fair and peaceful world.
REGIONAL HARMONY
Developing regional master plans that respect the local community over global commercial interests. We rebuild our world from the town and the village upward, in harmony with our resources.
Proof of Concept: The Libya Doctrine
Building the Sovereign Foundation Before the Ballot
Traditional diplomacy often mistakes an election date for a peace plan. In Libya, I have championed a different path: The Libya Doctrine. This 30-month roadmap rejects the cycle of ‘quick-fix’ elections in favour of a bottom-up restoration of the state. By prioritizing Human Capital and Decentralized Governance, we build the professional mastery and local trust necessary for a nation to stand on its own. We do not just plan for an election; we build a citizenry and an infrastructure capable of sustaining one.
A Global Division of Labour: The Regional Excellence Framework
Greatness is a Shared Responsibility. We unite the world’s leading institutional powers to build sovereign foundations that last.
To move beyond the reactive summits of the past, the United Nations must embrace a Strategic Division of Labour. My roadmap invites the Permanent Five (P5) and the world’s leading economies to lead where they are strongest. By sharing Gold Standards of excellence—from German vocational mastery to American soft power—we ensure that every nation has the tools to protect its own people and thrive within its own borders.
USA (Soft Power & Ag-Tech)
Implementing the Marshall Plan for the Americas to restore human capital and solve migration at the source through education, healthcare, and agricultural excellence.
CHINA (Rapid Development & Infrastructure)
Leveraging Chinese expertise in large-scale infrastructure and rural modernization to secure the fundamental pillars of water and energy across Asia and Africa.
EU - FRANCE/GERMANY (Administrative & Vocational)
Establishing decentralized governance through French administrative standards and German 28-month vocational mastery to stabilize the Mediterranean and beyond.
RUSSIA (Engineering & Industrial Resilience)
Utilizing Russian technical and energy engineering to secure heavy infrastructure and industrial stability in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
UNITED KINGDOM (Rule of Law & Financial Architecture)
Providing the legal and financial frameworks to ensure every sovereign state is bankable, legally secure, and protected by the rule of law.
The Power of Craftsmanship
Crafting the Value of the Collective Refined
The Power of Craftsmanship is a reflection on how we rebuild the resilience of our societies. It argues that lasting progress comes from people regaining pride in their work and their contribution to the community. When a human being possesses skill and mastery, they gain the freedom to contribute to a Collective Success that is unbreakable.
